1 1/2 cups soy milk
1/4 cup vegetable or canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups white flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the
flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and arrowroot powder,
and mix well.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the soy milk, oil, and vanilla.
3. Pour the liquid into the flour mixture and stir well, until
most lumps are gone.
4. Pour batter into waffle iron, cook, and serve with maple
syrup.
